ADORA – a brand that represents precision and quality in German specialist retail. Created in Pforzheim, Adora is a brand of watches that belonged to the portfolio of the German Adolf Rapp.
 
Today, we are presenting an immaculate timepiece, it is a vintage Adora Climatica chronograph wristwatch dated from the 1970s.
 
It is a manual-wind chronograph watch with a caliber Valjoux 7733, incabloc, 17 jewels movement, chronograph: 60s and 30min, sub second hand, Swiss made.
 
Valjoux is a Swiss watch movement manufacturer very well known primarily for the chronograph timepiece movements that are used in a number of mid- to high-range of mechanical watches. Valjoux company is part of ETA and a member of the Swatch Group. The company also provided the movement for early Rolex Daytonas such as 6263.
 
This watch has a super cool racing design dial, two-tone color, and two-tone sub dials as well. Silver hour applied, luminous dots and silver/luminous matching hands. The dial is signed with the “ADORA Climatica” and “17 Jewels Incabloc” as well.

It is Cased in 36mm round shape case and lug design, stainless-steel back. It is coming with a two-piece leather strap.

It is still a very interesting and good looking watch! It is in good condition! Runs very well, keeps great time.

Vintage watches are traditionally smaller than today's watches. Men’s watches typically measure between 29-36mm wide (some larger, some smaller) excluding the crown. We prefer to shoot photographs outside when weather is permitting. However, when we shoot indoors, please be aware that we shoot our photographs inside of lightboxes that are lit with 360 LED bulbs. This indeed magnifies any flaws. Usually, they are much less obvious to the naked eye. Having said that, we never photoshop any of our photography, remove blemishes, etc. We adjust lighting when necessary, but what you see is what you are getting, and we take pride in that.

The item may have some signs of cosmetic wear but is fully operational and functions as intended.
