VOSTOK-EUROPE
In August 2003, the Vilnius Koliz company and Chystopol Watch Factory Vostok formed a joint venture called Koliz Vostok with the aim of creating a new line of watches that combined modern design with high quality. This collaboration led to the creation of the Vostok-Europe brand.
By April 2004, the first Vostok-Europe collection was unveiled at the BaselWorld trade show, featuring five models. Among them, the "K3 Submarine" became the brand’s first bestseller. The watches were inspired by major achievements in Soviet science and technology and carried the slogan "Soviet Techno Design."
In May 2004, production began on the 2426 and 2432 movements, designed exclusively for Vostok-Europe by Runim Co., part of the Chystopol Watch Factory. That summer, the first shipments of Vostok-Europe watches were sent to Germany, Poland, Greece, and the USA.
VOSTOK-EUROPE Expedition
In February 2005, Vostok-Europe became the official timekeeper for the Murmansk-Vladivostok race, organized by the Russian company “Expedition.” The following year, in 2006, the company moved into a new office designed specifically to improve operational efficiency. By 2007, Vostok-Europe had successfully expanded its presence, with its watches being sold in 30 countries worldwide.

This brand-new timepiece is the Vostok Europe Expedition GMT 2006 Trophy wristwatch, a limited edition model with only 3,000 units produced—this particular piece is number 0130.
Never worn, it is a self-winding watch powered by the original VOSTOK-Europe caliber 2440 automatic movement, featuring 32 jewels, a sweep-second hand, and an additional 24-hour GMT function, all made in Russia.
Cased in a 42mm polished stainless steel case with a screw-down crown, unidirectional rotating bezel, and anti-shock balance. It is water-resistant up to 10 ATM (100m / 328 feet).
The striking sunburst orange dial features luminous white Arabic numerals at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions, luminous stick hour markers, bold minute/second tracks, and matching luminous hands. Orange 24-hour inner orange ring. The date display is located at 6 o'clock, with the dial also signed with the "Expedition" logo at the top and "12/24 hours" alongside the Vostok-Europe logo at the bottom.
Complete with its original black genuine leather "Expedition" two-piece strap.

Vintage watches are traditionally smaller than today's watches. Men’s watches typically measure between 29-36mm wide (some larger, some smaller) excluding the crown. In the listing details we typically try to do our best to list all pertinent dimensions of a watch. If you don't see it, or we failed to do so, please reach out to us. Women’s watches from the 1900s-1970s were also much smaller than today's offerings. Please also feel free to ask any questions you have pertaining to size.
We prefer to shoot photographs outside when weather is permitting. However, when we shoot indoors, please be aware that we shoot our photographs inside of lightboxes that are lit with 360 LED bulbs. This indeed magnifies any flaws. Usually, they are much less obvious to the naked eye. Having said that, we never photoshop any of our photography, remove blemishes, etc. We adjust the lighting, when necessary, but what you see is what you are getting, and we take pride in that.

The item may have some signs of cosmetic wear but is fully operational and functions as intended.
